BLOODCARE powder is a high-tech wound dressing in the form of a haemostatic powder. The active substance is based on oxidised cellulose and is available in a sterile form. It has been designed to stop capillary and minor venous bleeding and bleeding from parenchymatous organs during surgical interventions.

Areas of Application

The sterile form is suitable for use in general surgery and digestive surgery, plastic surgery, orthopedy, gynaecology, urology, stomatology and all other branches of surgery, traumatology and stomatology. It could be also applied into cavities (after extirpation of tumours) as well as endoscopy interventions or dental praxis.

Sterile Packaging

BLOODCARE powder is packed into a double sterile packaging. The primary/inner packaging is the plastic bottle with a sprinkler and cover, with the added applicator (trochar) enclosed to enable the powder to be better directed into cavities or during precise applications.
