To Stop Capillary Bleeding and Parenchymatous Tissue Bleed
BLOODCARE is an oxidised cellulose based haemostatic agent designed to stop capillary and minor venous bleeding or bleeding from parenchymatous organs and resection areas occurring during any kind of surgical intervention.
This product is made by oxidising high grade cotton, a form of preparation that has been known and used commercially world-wide for over 50 years. The very first oxidised cellulose based preparations being developed and used by armed forces during World War II.
On application, BLOODCARE achieves full haemostasis within 2 minutes. The preparations is fully absorbed within 48 to 72 hours with no toxicology effect and eliminated from the body within 7 to 21 days, leaving no deposit behind in the tissue.
BLOODCARE is non allergenic, non-sensitising and there have been no reported drug interactions to date. Owing to the presence of carboxyl groups within the preparation the product demonstrates significant bactericidal and bacteriostatic properties.
