Bloodcare Spray

Oxidised cellulose based haemostat - stops capillary bleeding and parenchymatous tissue bleed

General Introduction

BLOODCARE spray is an aerosol form of the high-tech wound dressing BLOODCARE powder. It is formed by particles of the haemostat based on hydrogen calcium salt of oxidised cellulose being suspended in a pressurised propellant.

BLOODCARE spray is an aerosol haemostat for topical use. On application it stops minor capillary or venous bleeding from superficial wounds and supports the biological healing process.

Composition

Active substance: hydrogen calcium of oxidised cellulose 2g, micronised form

Auxiliary substance: propellant 134A

Handy packaging and easy application means the product can be used as part of a first aid kit, when minor bleeding needs to be stopped fast and efficiently.

Step by Step Instructions for Use

• - Clean and disinfect the wound
• - Dry the area around the wound
• - Shake the can well
• - Hold the can upright
• - Spray from a distance of 10-15 cm for 2-3 seconds
• - Do not remove the layer saturated with blood
• - Use a plaster or bandage if necessary

Packaging

Aluminium aerosol can sealed by a gas-proof valve. The packaging contains 2g of active substance and 80mls of propellant.
